hello world

i've never been much of an extrovert. i've also never been a good artist of any kind.

i do think a lot, though.

i decided to create my personal website for a few reasons:

• i'm trying to build things and it's nice to have a place to put them
• i wanted to learn web development and this is a nice little project that i can build on
• i have a bunch of little tools and scripts lying around - why not collect them in one place?

and i'm sure it's going to be a nice mental exercise to write about my thoughts and ideas.

lately, i've come to a realization that i can just do things. i'm sure i must have heard that somewhere. so i've started doing things.

i became more involved at my job. i started coding more. and i'm enjoying both a lot.

i'm also more interested in the business side of things. i'm thinking about my own opportunities. every day, new ideas pop up. it's been pretty hectic with my masters and my job, but i know i'll start a big project as soon as i can.

i'm keeping a big list of all the ideas i have. it also helps that i actively talk about them with people. that's the most important part of starting a business anyway.

being proactive. doing things. talking about them. if you keep doing that, there's no way you don't make it.

and i'm sure i will.
